DR. AMMON ZUKERAN

Every day I hear story after story from patients letting me know how chiropractic care has changed their life, and the immeasurable impact it has had on their lives. My mission at Katy Elite Chiropractic is to show up every day, dedicated to bringing Hope, Help, and Answers to as many individuals searching for drug-free, non-invasive therapies to treat back pain, neck pain, joint pain of the arms or legs, headaches and other complaints.
I completed my bachelors of Science in Human Biology and a doctorate of Chiropractic degree at the prestigious University of Western States in Portland, Oregon. While there I was fortunate to have great academic and clinical success, and completed my clinical internship at the East UWS outpatient clinic. Upon graduating I worked with a very successful chiropractor in the state of Hawaii at Hawaii Chiropractic Clinic for a year and a half and then opened my own practice in the City of Aiea in Oahu where I still hold a chiropractic license.
I have been serving the community of Katy TX since 2015, and I approach chiropractic care with different modalities depending on the needs of each patient, such as adjustments, kinesio taping, physical exercises, instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM), and wellness care. I use modern, evidence based procedures when it comes to diagnosing and treating my patients. We offer on-site x-rays and a variety of modalities to get the highest level of results on the treatment of our patients.
My main goal is to help individuals, families and athletes live a life of wellness free from pain, disease and drug/chemical dependence by setting goal oriented outcomes and focusing on the root of patient conditions.
I have completed continuing education to rehabilitate injuries and whiplash from motor vehicle accidents through the Spine Research Institute of San Diego (SRISD). The Spine Research Institute of San Diego provides the most comprehensive and up to date information available regarding Whiplash Associated Disorders (WAD) and is known worldwide for its program. In addition, I am a certified Activator Method provider and have taken extensive IASTM courses studying the concept of functional movement therapy and performance enhancement via Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM). I am also the creator and owner of ZUKA Tools, Inc a company created to help other professionals purchase affordable IASTM tools.
OUTSIDE THE OFFICE
I was born and raised in the beautiful state of Hawaii, graduated from Pearl City High School in the island of Oahu.
In 1999 – 2001, I served within the Hispanic community in San Bernardino, California and learned Spanish while living there. I met my beautiful wife, Monica, while attending school during my pre-chiropractic studies in Utah.
Everyone in my practice knows that for me FAMILY COMES FIRST! My wife Monica supports me in the office and together we raise our amazing kids Makena, Makayla, Mia and AJ – We love spending time as a family and like to be very active going for bike rides, walks to the park, playing at the beach or camping.
When I’m not at the office, you can find me at the beach catching some waves or cheering for our daughter’s at their soccer games.
I enjoy sports and athletics and I am passionate on helping those trying to enhance athletic performance.
My wife and I not only love chiropractic for all the amazing things it does for the families we serve at the practice, but we personally know the power of chiropractic as we have both been treated in past injuries.
